My fees are higher than some, lower than others.

My standard charges for mediations are set out below, but depending on the character of the dispute, and the means of the parties, I am prepared to consider other arrangements including pro bono.   

From time to time, I also mediate ICBC claims, and will meet the billing requirements of the Corporation.

Upon retainer, the following services will be provided without charge:

*           Conduct initial discussions with the parties regarding the mediation process
*           Secure the agreement of parties, as needed, to participate in mediation
*           Facilitate the design of the mediation process
*           Obtain, if necessary, the services of a Co-mediator
*           Co-ordinate the date, time and place for a mediation conference
*           Confirm the arrangements with all parties
*           Provide a Mediation Agreement for signature of the parties
*           Produce, as required, documentation under the Notice to Mediate regulations

FEES & CHARGES:

2-4 Party Mediation                                            $350.00 per hour*
5-6 Party Mediation                                            $400.00 per hour*

7+  Party Mediation, or Co-Mediation                    By quotation*

*  Subject to a minimum charge of 3 hours for a mediation in the Lower    
    Mainland; 4 hours elsewhere in British Columbia.

Pre-mediation conference calls, meetings, discussions
and substantive efforts to further the mediation process:            Hourly Fee

Reviewing Mediation Briefs:                                                     Hourly Fee

Travel Time:                                                                          No Charge

Charges for facilities, catering, travel cost outside the Lower Mainland and conference calls will be billed as incurred.

Cancellation Fee: $500.00 if cancelled one week or less before the mediation.
